“Well, I be done seen 'bout ev'rything, when I see a elephant fly.”
No, folks, your eyes are not playing tricks on you, that is indeed a “flying elephant.” Asad Ayaz, President of Marketing, The Walt Disney Studios shared this fun little clip of none other than Dumbo taking to the sky this afternoon. A small crowd enjoy the spectacle of the young elephant soaring through the California sky, most likely to promote the upcoming live-action Dumbo film.
It turns out this wasn’t Dumbo’s first flight! He also appeared at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California last week where he showed off his special skills:
Just like the Dumbo we all know and love, the special creature has giant ears that keep him aloft in the sky. No word if he had his magic feather with him…
More Dumbo fun:
- Danny Elfman scored the upcoming film adding his own unique touches to the soundtrack. Mike recently attended a press conference where Elfman spoke about how he approached this particular score.
- Disney released advance tickets for Dumbo as well as a new featurette for the film.
- New Funko Pop! figures debuted last month and feature Dumbo in two of his looks from the new movie.
Dumbo flies into theaters this week on March 29.
