Not impressed yet? Fandango shared another impressive statistic regarding their sales of Endgame tickets.
Fandango has sold five times the amount of tickets for Endgame than what they sold for Avengers: Infinity War. Five times. Infinity War is the same film that hold the all-time record for opening weekend earnings both domestically at $257 million and worldwide at $640 million. Fandango has sold five times more tickets for Endgame. Let that sink in.
And keep in mind, this is just presale. The movie doesn’t come out for another few weeks. According to Forbes, Endgame could potentially be heading for a ridiculous $900+ million opening weekend worldwide, which would break Infinity War’s record by about $260 million.
As if the hype level for this movie isn’t already high enough, Entertainment Weekly has shared an interview with the original six Avengers stars and Marvel chief Kevin Feige.
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters April 26.
