ABC Renews “Abbott Elementary” for Fifth Season
The renewal comes on the heels of a spinoff episode with FX’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”
Class will continue to be in session, as ABC has renewed their hit comedy series Abbott Elementary for a fifth season.
What’s Happening:
- As reported by TheWrap, the popular comedy series, created by and starring Quinta Bruson, will be back for a fifth season.
- This news follows a successful crossover episode with FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which earned the show a series high total audience of 8.05 million multiplatform viewers.
- The series has also seen much critical acclaim, scoring 24 Emmy nominations and four Emmy wins.
