Star Wars Collaboration Announced for “Destiny 2: Heresy” Video Game DLC During PlayStation Livestream

New gear will include armor ornaments and accessories.

This morning during a developer livestream on the official PlayStation YouTube channel, Bungie announced a new collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and the Star Wars franchise for the upcoming “Heresy" episode of its first-person shooter Destiny 2.

What’s happening:

A Star Wars collaboration is set to launch alongside Bungie’s Destiny 2: Heresy DLC next week.
This update will include new armor ornaments, accessories, emotes, and finishers inspired by Star Wars.
Destiny 2 first launched in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. Since then it has been made available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, in addition to the now-defunct Stadia gaming service. Seven years worth of DLC expansions have kept the video game thriving during that period.

Available with the launch of Heresy are three new armor ornaments (one per Guardian class), each inspired by the soldiers of the Galactic Empire, in addition to a number of Star Wars-inspired accessories."
