Mindy Kaling Set to Return to Hulu as Creator of New Series “Not Suitable for Work”
The series will mark Kaling's return to the streamer, which called "The Mindy Project" home for three years.
Mindy Kaling is returning to Hulu with a new comedy series for the streamer.
What’s Happening:
- Calling Hulu home for three seasons of The Mindy Project and 2019’s Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hulu is welcoming Mindy Kaling back for her newest series.
- Created and executive produced by Kaling, Not Suitable for Work follows a group of twenty-somethings who are working towards professional success, even if their overall happiness takes a back seat, in Manhattan’s Murray Hill neighborhood.
- The show was originally in the works back in spring of last year, Variety reports.
- Kaling will produce alongside Charlie Grandy, who is also the showrunner for the series.
- Due to Kaling and Grandy’s first look deals, the series is produced by Warner Bros. Television.
