Oscar-winner Olivia Colman is set to star in a new FX drama inspired by the Danish show Ulven Kommer (Cry Wolf).
What’s Happening:
- Deadline reports that Colman will star in and executive produce a new drama created, executive produced and showrun by The Affair co-creator Sarah Treem.
- The untitled one-hour drama, based on the aforementioned Danish format, is described as a sweeping family drama that is both a mystery and thriller.
- The 2020 Danish series follows a social worker who tries to find out who is telling the truth in a family with a teen daughter which may be plagued by domestic violence.
- The project continues Colman’s work with FX, after previously starring in Great Expectations and making a guest appearance on The Bear, which earned her an Emmy nomination.
- Treem co-created and was showrunner of the Showtime series The Affair, which ran for five seasons and won a Golden Globe for Best Drama series.
