“The Muppet Script” Live Show Announced for Wildfire Relief
The live reading of "The Muppet Movie" script will raise funds for Los Angeles wildfire recovery efforts.
An incredible list of comedians and performers are coming together to fundraise for victims of the Los Angeles wildfires in the most inspirational, celebrational way.
What’s Happening:
- Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles is hosting The Muppet Script, a live reading of the screenplay for 1979’s The Muppet Movie.
- The reading will feature talent from Dropout, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Abbott Elementary including Paul F. Tompkins, Nina West, Bobby Moynihan, and more.
- Proceeds will benefit GiveDirectly, an organization that works to directly transfer cash to those affected by natural disasters, with the goal of donating $4000 per family.
