“Weird Disney” Archives Presentation Announced for D23 – The Official Disney Fan Club’s Gold Theater This Month
Weird!
Hot on the heels of “The Happiest Place On Earth", D23: The Official Disney Fan Club has announced the next program coming to its virtual Gold Theater– and it’s simply called “Weird Disney."
What’s happening:
- A new livestream event entitled “Weird Disney" is scheduled to take place in D23’s Gold Theater on Thursday, March 27th. It will be presented by The Walt Disney Archives and will only be accessible to Gold Members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club.
- While D23 has not yet released much information about the presentation, its logo does feature the infamous black-and-white photo of a theater full of children wearing Mickey Mouse masks.
- The previous event in the Gold Theater was entitled “The Happiest Place On Earth" and was hosted by Disney Legend Don Hahn with former Imagineer Chris Merritt. You can see the trailer for that presentation below.
What they’re saying:
- D23: “Each month, D23 Gold Theater celebrates Disney fandom by taking viewers behind-the-scenes and diving into fan-favorite topics from across the worlds of Disney. Interact virtually with guest speakers and fellow Disney fans during this one-time streaming event, shown live, exclusively for Gold Members."
