Hot Toys Reveals New “Star Wars” TIE Fighter Pilot 1/6th-Scale Collectible Figure Complete with Weapons

"Here they come!"

One of the most imposing helmeted Imperial soldiers from the original 1977 Star Wars film has to be the black-suited TIE fighter pilot, and this week Hot Toys revealed its new 1/6th-scale collectible figure depicting this immediately recognizable uniform.

What’s happening:

  • Hot Toys has revealed its new Star Wars TIE Fighter Pilot 1/6th-scale collectible figure, which sells for $245 and is available for pre-order right now via Sideshow Collectibles.
  • This high-end figure features 30 points of articulation and a selection of interchangeable hands. Two weapons are also included for the Imperial character: a blaster rifle and a blaster pistol.
  • TIE fighter pilots first appeared in the original 1977 Star Wars film, also known as Episode IV - A New Hope. They were seen– naturally– piloting Twin Ion Engine starfighters for the Galactic Empire in the Battle of Yavin against the Rebel Alliance’s X-wing starfighters.

What they’re saying:

  • Sideshow Collectibles: “Capturing the pilot’s distinctive look, this beautifully designed piece features a highly detailed helmet with Imperial markings and breathing tubes connected to a chest panel. The pilot wears specially painted black armor, black boots, a black belt with a silver buckle, and 2 attachable belt accessories. An interchangeable back panel is also included."

Hot Toys’ TIE Fighter Pilot 1/6th-scale collectible figure is now available for pre-order via Sideshow’s official website.
