Sideshow Collectibles Reveals New Grand Admiral Thrawn Premium Format Figure from “Star Wars Rebels” / “Ahsoka”

"When you understand a species' art, you understand that species."

One of the most fearsome Imperial officers in all of Star Wars lore is getting a new premium format figure from Sideshow Collectibles: it’s Grand Admiral Thrawn, and this high-end piece will allow fans to display the character as he appears in Star Wars Rebels or as depicted by acclaimed actor Lars Mikkelsen in Star Wars: Ahsoka.

What’s happening:

  • Sideshow Collectibles has revealed its new Grand Admiral Thrawn ¼-scale premium format figure, which sells for $880 and is available for pre-order right now via Sideshow’s official website.
  • This fully sculpted piece measures 17 inches tall, 15.1 inches wide, and 15.3 inches deep. It depicts the strategic genius Thrawn deep in thought while perched on an Imperial throne.
  • Grand Admiral Thrawn was first introduced in author Timothy Zahn’s 1991 novel Star Wars: Heir to the Empire, and the character has since been brought into the current canon via the Star Wars Rebels animated series and Lucasfilm’s live-action Disney+ series Star Wars: Ahsoka.

What they’re saying:

  • Sideshow Collectibles: “Wearing a pristine white uniform, Thrawn is poised on a large throne positioned above the six-spoked Imperial insignia. From his vantage point upon a Star Destroyer, Thrawn can achieve glory for the Empire — and secure his ascendency as its heir. He sits, composed, as he waits for an opportune moment to outmaneuver the rebels."
  • “The Grand Admiral Thrawn Premium Format Figure also features two alternate portraits, one is a stylized version and the other has a more realistic look. Additional swap-out hands, matching the headsculpts’ differing blue complexions, allow collectors to capture the character’s power and prestige."

This Grand Admiral Thrawn premium format figure is available for pre-order right now from Sideshow’s official website.
