D23 Day at Disneyland has begun!
The celebration of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event and the official Disney fan club’s members has taken over the Disneyland Resort for a day of fun.
Complimentary ears, posters, and maps were handed out in celebration of D23, flanked with Hayden Evans’ gorgeous artwork and designs for the event.
D23 Day celebrated with a cavalcade down Main Street with characters and Disney Legends, including Floyd Norman, Jodi Benson, Tony Baxter, and more.
Specialty medallions were made available today with the D23 Day logo on onside and various other Disneyland artwork on the other (i.e. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Haunted Mansion, etc.).
The merchandise has been wiped clean after just a few hours, with the exclusive Jane doll and the return of customizable headbands being hot ticket items.
Specialty characters are appearing across property, including Star-Lord and Scarlet Witch meeting and greeting in Avengers Campus, along with Lotso over on Pixar Pier.
Over in Tomorrowland, a dance party of inter-galactic proportions has kept the beats going.
Alongside the characters, a variety of photo-ops have appeared for guests to enjoy.
Disney Jr. fun is occurring today all over DIsney California Adventure, with filming taking place for the experiences.
Over at Downtown Disney, more photo opportunities have popped up, including one in the making thanks to artist Nate Baranowski.
The first presence of the upcoming Wizards of Waverly Place sequel series, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, has also appeared for guests to enjoy.
