Disney Cruise Line Updates Recommended Gratuity Amount

Guests who have already paid gratuities for an upcoming voyage will not be impacted by the new changes.

Disney Cruise Line has adjusted its recommended gratuities for all sailings on or after January 23rd, 2025.

What’s Happening:

Beginning January 22nd, a gratuity increase will take effect for all trips starting on or after January 23rd, 2025.
Disney Cruise Line will raise the suggested pre-paid gratuities for non-concierge guests by $1.50 per person, per day.
The new recommended amount is $16.00 per person, per day.
This adjustment will affect the gratuities for Assistant Dining Room Server, Dining Room Server, Stateroom Host/Hostess.
For concierge guests, it is advised to increase the gratuity by $3.75 per person per day.
The recommended gratuity now stands at $27.25 per person per day.
Alongside the previously mentioned roles, this amount includes Assistant Stateroom Host/Hostess and Concierge Lounge Team positions.
The change to include these positions in the recommended gratuity amount for concierge guests was made in October 2024. Prior to that, recommendations for the Concierge Lounge Team gratuity were separate from the regular recommended gratuity and prepaid option.
