Droid Depot at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Will Switch to Standby Only
This update is for the Droid Depot at Disneyland Park only.
A recent announcement on the official Disneyland Resort website reveals that the Droid Depot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will switch to a walk-up only system starting next month.
What’s Happening:
- A recent announcement on the official Disneyland Resort website reveals that the Droid Depot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will no longer accept reservations and will switch to a walk-up-only system.
- The official Disneyland Park website has recently updated the Droid Depot section, adding a new notice at the bottom of the page.
- The notice reads, “Incoming transmission: Droid Depot in Disneyland Park will no longer offer reservations starting March 17, 2025, but walk-ups are always welcome!"
- This means that guests visiting Batuu can simply head straight to the Depot for their Custom Astromech Unit Building Experience.
- Ahead of this change, the reservation booking page is currently active on the website. However, this feature is anticipated to be removed once reservations end on March 16.
- The Custom Astromech Unit Building Experience currently costs $99 plus tax and lasts about 20 minutes.
- Each participant can build one custom droid using pre-made components provided by Cast Members.
- Note that this update is only for Droid Depot at Disneyland Park, there are no changes to reservations at the Walt Disney World Resort at this time.
- Additionally, Savi's Workshop on either coast will continue to offer reservations for now.
