Photos: Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point Decked Out for Its First-Ever Holiday Season

The island destination features a number of decorations that call to mind the spirit of Junkanoo.

Disney Cruise Line’s newest island destination, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, is celebrating its first-ever holiday season. Our reporter’s cruise aboard the Disney Dream made a stop at Lookout Cay, offering us a first-look at their holiday decorations.

Garland can be found all over the island, on light posts, buildings and even on the lengthy walk from the cruise dock to the destination.

The decorations incorporate a number of items you might think about when you imagine an island vacation, like pineapples, seashells, fish, sea turtles, and more.

The decorations also call to mind the spirit of Junkanoo, which is quite prevalent on Lookout Cay, being located on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas.
