Name, Concept Art and More Details Revealed for New Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge Coming to the Magic Kingdom

Set to be called McKim’s Mile House, named after Disney Legend Sam McKim.

Concept art, the name and details regarding the new Disney Vacation Club lounge coming to Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom have been announced.

What’s Happening:

  • Back in June, the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade closed to make way for a new Disney Vacation Club lounge.
  • Now, we have more details and new concept art for the lounge, which is set to be called McKim’s Mile House.
  • The name likely serves as a reference to Disney Legend Sam McKim, who prior to working on a number of early Disneyland attractions, was an actor in many western films.
  • Featuring rustic charm inspired by the adventurous spirit of exploration of a bygone era, the lounge will offer a cozy and convenient retreat for members to share stories and recharge during their day of fun.
  • As with other similar DVC lounges, McKim’s Mile House will feature:
    • Comfortable seating
    • Complimentary soft drinks
    • A children's entertainment area
    • Wi-Fi
    • Charging cords available upon request on a first-come, first-served basis
  • McKim’s Mile House is set to open in Summer 2025 at the Magic Kingdom. Admission details can be found at DisneyVacationClub.com.
