Photos/Video: Mickey and Friends Cavalcade Returns to Disneyland

"Oh the ceiling's gonna blow we're dancing in the street"

With Holidays at Disneyland Resort officially wrapped for the season and Disneyland’s 70th anniversary just around the corner, the resort’s Mickey and Friend’s Cavalcade is back.

Disneyland’s Mickey and Friends Cavalcade is back to fill in the gaps between major seasonal offerings at the California theme park. Replacing the Christmas Fantasy Parade, the holiday season offering marched its way throughout the park bringing in the spirit of the season. With the Holidays at Disneyland officially ending its run on January 6th, the mini parade now travels through the park twice daily as the resort prepares for its 70th anniversary celebration.

While not as impressive as Disney’s more major entertainment offerings, the adorable and temporary show allows guests to enjoy character interactions with several Disney icons. Kicking off the show is a familiar parade float previously seen in the park’s Soundsational Parade that ended in 2019.

With Tokyo Disney’s 35th anniversary song “Brand New Day” blasting, the float is quickly followed by a group of sweater vest adorned dancers.

The energy keeps on flowing as Mickey and Minnie Mouse arrive aboard Fire Engine No. 1 with Pluto and Chip ‘n Dale following quickly behind.

Another Main Street, U.S.A. vehicle arrives next, as the Omnibus, loaded with Disney characters like Miguel, Geppetto, Pinocchio, Pocahontas, Merida, Mary Poppins, and Snow White, floats down the parade route.

Trailing behind, fans will get to see even more character’s following on foot.

Closing out the festivities are Donald and Daisy Duck aboard another one of the classic Main Street, U.S.A. vehicles.

The Mickey and Friends Cavalcade is expected to be replaced when Disneyland’s 70th Celebration begins. A new cavalcade titled Mickey & Friends Celebrate Happy! and the returning Paint the Night Parade will take over, with the festivities set to begin on May 16th, 2025.
