New "Reclaimed and Reforged" Storyline with Fresh Lightsaber Parts Coming to Savi's Workshop at Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge
This limited-time offering will begin on Star Wars Day this year, May the 4th.
Along with the Season of the Force 2025 announcements made by Disneyland Resort this morning came the reveal that Savi’s Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be getting an all-new storyline entitled “Reclaimed and Reforged" complete with new “scavenged" lightsaber parts for a limited time.
What’s happening:
- “Reclaimed and Reforged" is the name of a new storyline coming to Savi’s Workshop in Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, along with lightsaber parts that have been “scavenged by pirates throughout the galaxy."
- While this announcement was made in conjunction with the reveals for Season of the Force 2025 (which begins on March 28th), “Reclaimed and Reforged" will not launch until Star Wars Day, May the 4th, and will only run for a limited time.
- Savi’s Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers opened with Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World back in 2019. It allows guests the opportunity to construct their own lightsabers (for a fee) from a selection of different parts. An immersive story experience plays out in the location while they are doing so.
What they’re saying:
- Disneyland Resort: “Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers will debut a brand-new storyline called ‘Reclaimed and Reforged’ for a limited time beginning May 4. Guests will be able to build their own Lightsabers from scraps that have been scavenged by different pirates throughout the galaxy and made their way to Batuu. Purchase is required and advanced reservations are highly encouraged for this experience."
“Reclaimed and Reforged" will launch at Savi’s Workshop for a limited time beginning Sunday, May the 4th in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort.
