Elements and Characters from Disney+ Star Wars Series Making Their Way to Star Tours at Tokyo Disneyland
Nearly a year after debuting at Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris, these new additions will finally be making their way to Tokyo Disneyland.
Last year, Star Tours at Disneyland, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Paris added some new moments and characters from some recent Disney+ series. Now, those additions are finally set to make their way to Tokyo Disneyland.
What’s Happening:
- Elements and characters from three popular Star Wars series on Disney+ – Ahsoka, Andor and The Mandalorian – will be arriving at Tokyo Disneyland on April 8th.
- Fans of the attraction may recall that there are different possibilities that passengers aboard a Starspeeder 1000 can experience – variants in an Intro, a destination planet, a transmission from a character, and another destination planet that leads into the finale.
- The transmission portion now features a random appearance by either Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor or Din Djarin and Grogu.
- Guests will also fly through the skies above the planet Seatos, weaving between massive space-whales known as Purrgil, as they head toward a destination in the galaxy.
- The special version of Star Tours: The Adventures Continue will run through June 30th, 2025 at Tokyo Disneyland – at which point the new elements will be incorporated into the attraction as one of the randomly selected adventures.
- Guests can commemorate the special version of Star Tours with a collection of pins featuring Grogu – available starting April 7th.
- Across the resort at Cinema Ikspiari, screenings of a number of Star Wars films will take place to celebrate the special edition of Star Tours.
- Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be shown from March 7th-9th, with all nine films of the Skywalker Saga screening from April 15th-20th.
- Film posters and special background music will enhance the Star Wars-inspired ambience of Cinema Ikspiari.
