What’s Happening:

  • Actor-writer-comedians Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang will announce the 97th Oscars nominations in all 23 Academy Award categories in a live presentation from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
  • The announcement will take place on Thursday, Jan. 23rd at 5:30 AM PST via global live stream on Oscar.com, Oscars.org and the Academy’s digital platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook), ABC’s Good Morning America, and streaming on ABC News Live, Disney+ and Hulu.
  • The announcement will be split into two halves. At 5:30 AM PST, we will learn the nominees for:
