The Suite Life of Zack & Cody alum, Brenda Song, will be reuniting with her Dollface co-star Kat Dennings in ABC’s new sitcom, Shifting Gears.
What’s Happening:
- Deadline reports that Brenda Song, who memorably starred as London Tipton in The Suite Life franchise, will be starring in Tim Allen’s new sitcom for ABC, Shifting Gears.
- She’ll be reunited with Kat Dennings, who starred alongside her in the Hulu comedy series Dollface. Michelle Nader, the showrunner of Dollface, is serving as the showrunner and executive producer for Shifting Gears.
- Shifting Gears stars Allen as Matt, the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When Matt’s estranged daughter Riley (Dennings) and her kids move into his house, the real restoration begins.
- Song will guest star as Caitlyn, a former high school classmate of Riley’s who is now the assistant principal of the school.
- The series also stars Seann William Scott as Gabriel, Daryl “Chill” Mitchell as Stitch, Maxwell Simkins as Carter and Barrett Margolis as Georgia.
- Shifting Gears premieres Wednesday, January 8th at 8:00 p.m. on ABC, streaming the next day on Hulu.
