With the debut of the new PlayStation 5 Pro, EA has announced that their popular game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, has been optimized for the new console.
What’s Happening:
- Today marks the release of the PlayStation 5 Pro, and Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has received a series of exciting optimizations for the new version of the console.
- This enhanced version features a variety of graphical and technical improvements that make it a must-play experience for those who are picking up the console.
- The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PlayStation 5 Pro enhancements include:
- Visibly higher base resolutions in both Quality and Performance modes.
- Quality mode retains a 4K resolution and ray-traced elements but is now upscaled from 1800p to 2160p
- Performance mode now runs at a higher resolution of 1800p (upscaled from 1200p) and includes raytraced occlusion and reflections while continuing to deliver 60 fps.
- In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Cal Kestis returns as a stronger and more experienced Jedi Knight. To escape the Empire’s long shadow and a mysterious threat from the galaxy’s distant past, Cal must reunite with old friends and join forces with new allies. New abilities, traversal options and combat styles await in this beloved adventure, dubbed “one of the best Star Wars games ever made" and “everything you could want from a sequel."
