You must believe for the magic of swords to work. Sound effects accentuate the guardsment motions to bring the swords to life.

The recruits practice their sword skills. The invisible magic swords enable wild swinging without injury. Since these are magic swords they are sharper and more powerful than the glow swords and the recruits end up leaving those sitting on the ground at their feet.

Jafar appears

The recruits must perform the various sword skills taught by the Royal Guardsmen to defeat Jafar. As Jafar wields his sword sparks fly as he makes contact with various stage props.
