[c. DISNEY] Various fountains are used on the platform. Most prevalent are the Grid Nozzles shown here in the foreground, placed on eight foot centers over the entire platform. Each has its own LED light, a nozzle, a one horse power pump and adjustable valves. These are the workhorses of World of Color. Chasers (in background with stainless steel cone) are more muscular, using power rather than finesse to achieve specific effects. Chasers are capable of firing up to 85 feet in the air. The valves on the Chasers can be recycled in less than eight tenths of a second. They are arrayed in lines, circles and arcs. A single 30 horsepower pump feeds five Chasers.

: In addition, the platform holds Water Whips, Dual Water Whips, Mist Screens (which are capable of shooting 90 feet in the air), Fire Balls, Fire Movers, Blow Pops, Dancers, and MEE Fog. 20k Digital Projectors round out the equipment that will display World of Color.
