In celebration of "45 Years of Magic" Disneyland is pleased to announce the
Artist Tribute Series
with Artist
John Pomeroy
Saturday, March 11th, 2000
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Disney Gallery, New Orleans Square
Meet and greet with Artist John Pomeroy. Pomeroy has given life to some of the best-loved animated characters of the big screen. His artistic talents have contributed to such well-known projects as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too, An American Tail, All Dogs Go To Heaven and Fantasia/2000, among others. His attention to detail, coupled with his ability to capture movement and interaction between his subjects, gives him the unique ability to tell a story with his paintings.
As part of the Artist Tribute Series, Disneyland is pleased to present a special limited-edition lithograph capturing the memorable moment on opening day at Disneyland as Walt Disney stands before his first official guests and greets them with his memorable speech "To all that come to this happy place, Welcome."
As always, paid admission is required to
enter Disneyland Park.
