Carradine Brothers Team to Film Episode of Disney Channel's "What's Lizzie Thinking?"
This week veteran actor David Carradine films a guest appearance on Disney Channel's new original comedy series "What's Lizzie Thinking?" The series stars Robert Carradine, David's real-life brother.
In this upcoming episode, Matt McGuire (Jake Thomas) will stop at nothing to become the next martial arts sidekick to Jackie Chan. He seeks out "Kung Fu" master David Carradine to teach him the ways of the dragon in the episode entitled "Between a Rock and a Bra Place." The episode films on Nov. 16 and will air the first quarter of 2001 exclusively on Disney Channel.
Premiering in January, Disney Channel's original series, "What's Lizzie Thinking?" follows the adventures of Lizzie McGuire (Hillary Duff), a normal 13-year-old surviving adolescence and her animated alter ego.
On the exterior, Lizzie is a young teenager navigating the turbulent years of junior high. That means coping with the ever-changing cliques at school, keeping up with what's in and what's out, as well as dealing with a well-meaning mom that is anxious to make her transition into womanhood as smooth as possible.
Sassy, sarcastic and sensible, Lizzie's animated self is one part guardian angel and one part mischief-maker. Lizzie's conscience does things most of us only dream of which includes swooning over the cutest boy in school and blowing up (literally) when her mom decides she should miss the party of the year.
"What's Lizzie Thinking?" is produced by Stan Rogow Productions and is created by Terri Minsky, executive producer of ABC's "The Geena Davis Show." Stan Rogow ("Shannon's Deal," "Clan of the Cave Bear") and Susan Jansen ("Home Improvement," "Boy Meets World") serve as executive producers.
