"Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand"
After 12 days at Walt Disney World I'm back. My wife and I had a wonderful time. We took hundreds of pictures, checked out all the new attractions and got a first hand look at all the Millennium festivities. Our last visit to WDW was October of 1998. This trip we made sure we experienced all the new stuff including Asia and Kali Rapids at Animal Kingdom, Winnie the Pooh at the Magic Kingdom, Disney's Doug Live and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at the Disney-MGM Studios. Of all these, our favorite was definitely Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. It was the only one of the attractions we experienced more than once (three times in all). Our least favorite was Kali Rapids. It was fun by way, way too short. Very disappointing. We also experienced the premiere of the Millennium Celebration at Epcot including the new Journey Into Your Imagination attraction, Tapestry of Nations and the new Illuminations. We also rode Test Track for the first time. The biggest surprise was Tapestry of Nations, a wonderful addition to the World Showcase. But you'll hear much, much more about all of this over the next few weeks via several features on LaughingPlace.com.
Thank you, once again, to John Frost for doing the daily news updates while we were gone. While we were out of town our database that stores registration and polls got corrupted. That prevented anyone from entering the trivia contests. The problem has now been corrected and no information was lost. So here's what we're going to do. Trivia Contest #8 which had 3 days left when the corruption occurred will be graded with the entries we were able to receive. Contest #9 was not able to receive any entries so it obviously won't be graded at all. Contest #10, which is up right now, will continue, as scheduled, until Sunday. For those that entered via email for #8 and #10, your entries will be graded and counted as received when I received the email. We apologize for this inconvenience.
