Cynthia Harriss: Well good afternoon everybody. Are you having fun today? Absolutely. This has been fun. Love the bugs hats here. Well I want to just say that this has been an incredible day for all of us and we’ve been excited to share all of the upcoming and current events here at the Disney’s California Adventure. This morning, through the magic of Disney storytelling, we have now brought to life some fantastic new chapters in the Disneyland Resort. With the official opening of a bug’s land we’re now able to meet Flik and all of his friends and travel beneath those towering clovers and watermelon slices to enter that amazing world of insects. And then following that debut some of you, I know, had a chance to see the new Disney’s Aladdin Live on Stage and this is a creation that will allow all of us to experience the excitement of magic carpet rides and exotic places as we’re swept away by this classic tale.

And now here we are at the entrance of Hollywood Pictures Backlot to celebrate another chapter in the continuing story of the Disneyland Resort. A place where stories come alive. Where the young and the young at heart can meet their favorite characters and see their dreams come true. And through our storytelling we often recreate the pages from storybooks or scenes from films or animated movies. And today we enter another realm of captivating stories - the magical world of television where we visit far off places and spend time with characters who become some of our best friends.

Walt Disney himself realized the power of television as a marvelous platform to tell those stories and no one knows better than our friends at the Disney Channel who continue to introduce children to new lovable characters. And we’re delighted that many of these huggable friends who’ve come to play such a special role in the lives of children will soon be visiting with their young fans right here. Today we’re very happy to announce that in collaboration with the Disney Channel we’re welcoming some of the most popular Playhouse Disney friends to Disney’s Claifornia Adventure. A live show which will be filled with family fun from Bubbles and streamers to sinjging and dancing and of course plenty of great music will be debuting right here in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot. We’re excited and we hope that all of you as our fans will be out here to see Playhouse Disney real soon. And to share a bit more it is my great pleasure to introduce to you the President of ABC Cable Networks Group and the Disney Channel Worldwide Anne Sweeney.
