As you may know, Mickey Mouse celebration 72nd birthday on November 18th. Over the years Mickey has performed many roles in a variety of situations. He has been in the Rose Parade, escorted various Disney Guests of Honor and performed in various events at the theme Parks. Here are some of the Mickey pictures we've collected over the years.

But my favorite was when Mickey attended a special event at the 1999 NFFC convention.
Hawaiian Mickey!
Throughout the Disney theme parks guests can spot the silhouette of this famous mouse they have become known as Hidden Mickeys. According to Disney History this phrase first appeared in Eyes and Ears (a publication for Disney World Cast Members) in an article written by Arlen Miller. HiddenMickeys.org offers a place for fans to announce or confirm Hidden Mickey sightings. They even include a definition of a hidden Mickey. I think it was on that site that I learned that Mickey also hides in Disney films. My favorite Hidden Mickey is in Disney's Little Mermaid. During our recent trip to Florida I purchased a necklace from DisneyQuest. It has become my favorite Mickey and I rarely leave home without it. I guess my collection reflects the reality of one of Walt Disney's famous quotes, "that it was all started by a mouse."
