Now that you've had a chance to experience DCA several times and the new expansion area as a whole, would share with us your thoughts and your hopes for its future?

I still like it. I want to see a Beach Boys (though I adore Aerosmith) themed Rock and Roller Coaster, and a Tower of Terror, and Spectro or Fantillusion-quality nighttime parades instead of DEP. I’d like to see more done with all of that empty real estate in Tomorrowland, so ease the crowds at Disneyland. I’d like a club at Downtown Disney like Mannequins at Walt Disney World.

Dear Fab,
Caught your recent column and the info about the 3 musketeers caught my interest. Is this supposed to be a full-length showcase for the "boys", or a short more along the lines of Prince and the Pauper? I was just thinking the other day what a great cast of characters they have in the original Fab 5 but a shame that Disney doesn't give them a full length feature treatment like the did with Tigger and Pooh last year. I think this would be a great way to introduce the "younger" set with the classic Disney characters.

I keep hearing about Dick Tracy Crimestoppers, but no one
ever explains what kind of ride it was. Can you possibly elaborate, Fab?

Part of the Disney Decade, Dick Tracy’s Crimestoppers was planned back when Dick Tracy was considered to be a huge future hit. Guests would sit in cars (dark ride) and shoot at bad guys. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is the grandchild of that concept. Could you imagine the row if Disney had people shooting guns at people, even if they were cartoon characters?

Rosie Perez doesn’t voice a character in
"Atlantis"...the Audrey Ramirez character is voiced by Jacqueline Obradors.

I stand corrected and apologize. My source said "sounds like Rosie" and I misheard and passed it along. A brief look at the cast list, which I have actually read over and over for months, would have shown me my mistake. D’Oh!
