On the way back from photographing Cameron, I saw Eden Riegel, who plays Erica Kane's daughter Bianca. Bianca Montgomery is daytime TV's first gay lead character; the soap was actually the first to feature a gay character in the early eighties, played by Donna Pescow.

Elizabeth Hendrickson, who plays Maggie Stone, visited us next. "You are about as big as a minute!" I informed her, after Tony took our picture. "My mom always says that!" she laughed.

We had just been served our lunch when Marcy Walker, Liza Colby Chandler, wife of Adam Chandler and daughter of Marion Chandler (her mother married - do the math here - her husband's identical twin brother, Stuart. Yes, David Canary is playing the husband of both mother and daughter. Only in Soaps!) Liza apparently has a brain tumor right now, and her life is in the balance. Will she be staying on the show?

She did, however, borrow my notepad, and started writing something. She then tore off the sheet, folded it, and gave it to one of her hosts, asking her to take it to an elderly lady in a wheelchair a few tables back. "She just looked so sad when I had to go," she explained, then posed for a few photos and chatted with us. One of her other hosts reminded her that she had to get moving, and she replied, "I want to see everyone. I'll work through my break if I have to."
