- James Coburns long career includes the Disney television series The Nine Lives of Elfego Baca and the voice of Waternoose in Disney/Pixars Monsters, Inc.
- Cuba Gooding, Jr. starred as real-life hero Dorie Miller in Touchstones Pearl Harbor and is lending his voice to the upcoming Disney animated musical Sweating Bullets.
- Five, yes, five writers contributed to the script of Snow Dogs, including Jim Kouf (Operation Dumbo Drop) and Tommy Swerdlow & Michael Goldberg (Cool Runnings).
- Theme park plug: Listen up for a clever reference to a Disney theme park near the end of the film.
