Aside from changes in the park - guidebooks also includes the hotels of the resort. These days - though - the Plaza Building Shops - that were once part of the Disneyland Hotel - were about where the ESPN Zone is now and the pedal boats, Neon Cactus and Monorail Café no longer exist.

AT&T provided these little decoder cards to read the Maraglyphics in the Temple of the Forbidden Eye for about the first two years - they no longer exist as a give away. The top is the rarest of the three and the bottom is the most common. Corporate sponsors often produce small give-away items to advertise their ties to the Disney Company.

The bugs weren't only in the cave - but also in the jeeps - and this flyer was given out at the ride queue and in City Hall. This type of support document very rarely survives for more than a day before it's tossed. I kept this one because I liked the 40 Years of Adventure logo - two of my favorite icons - Mickey and Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Remember when there was a Tobacco Shop on Main Street USA? As these items were designed to be used - very few survived in mint condition.
