World of Disney
The World of Disney will be located at the base of the Grand Californian hotel. Its interior will be very similar to Walt Disney World with its focus on flight. However, the interior will be built to blend in with the adjoining Grand California’s arts and crafts theme. The various room within the store will highlight Disney stories. AMC Theaters
AMC Theaters plans to build a 12-screen AMC megaplex theatre with more than 3,000 seats. According to Richard T Walsh, Senior Vice President of West Coast operations, theater goers will experience the comfort with stadium seating that includes 50” of leg room, loveseat style theater seats where the arm rest can raise when you want to sit a little closer and each seat will feature AMC’s signature cup holders. Box office services will include “Will Call” and 3-day advance ticket purchase with credit card. Walsh explained that unlike other AMC theaters which have a state-of-the-art, futuristic style, this location would be the first to have an Art Deco style to better blend in with that section of Downtown Disney.
