As the applause died down our attention was once again drawn to the large video screens where the movie Cinderella was being shown. Abridged versions of scenes were shown leading up to the sequence where Cinderella ran out into the garden after her dress was ripped to shreds. The stage curtain rose and there was Cinderella crying on her Fairy Godmothers lap. Soon the familiar refrains of Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo could be heard occasionally accentuated by a bright indoor firework. With a bit of magic Cinderellas rags were transformed into a beautiful ball gown.
The curtain fell and a herald announced dinner is served Lead by Jaq and Gus and accompanied by the orchestras energetic rendition of the Cinderella Work Song our servers brought out the second course Pumpkin Bisque En Croute. This was followed by the main course, which was a petite filet of beef with wild mushrooms, potato encrusted sea bass with red pepper sauce, caramelized onion mashed potatoes and assorted grilled vegetables. The vegetarians in attendance enjoyed fettuccine with wax beans.
The pumpkin bisque crust helped complete
the entree making each look like a small pumpkin.
