Harriss fools around in jail in this video for the May 2000 Pirates of the Caribbean event.

LP: A couple of easy questions. What is your favorite attraction at Disneyland?

CH: This is hard because I know you have fans for every single one of them. Whatever one I’m going to say somebody is going to love it and somebody is going to go "darn it." I think I’m with a lot of the guests in saying that I’d have to say Pirates is one of my favorites. Just the fact that it has such a great story and such a great history, everything about it. And it’s amazing that it has been here this long and it still has as big of an "oooh" and an "ahhh," I think, as probably it did the first day it opened and even in a more contemporary way. So, that’s one of them. But I have to be diplomatic and say I could also say Indiana Jones, and a few others too.

LP: Do you have a favorite place at Disneyland to kind of sit and just relax and take it all in?

CH: Hmmm ... When I come to the park I like to do as much of a tour as I can. There are so many special places in it and they’re all different. That’s probably why you like to come and enjoy the park. Because I think what’s so special about Disneyland is you can go into any one of the lands and have a great time and it’s a very different experience. And I’m not trying to be just diplomatic, I think it’s good everywhere. I will say if you go right down Main Street you can kind of get the action and see what’s going on, people coming and going.

LP: Did you grow up going to Disneyland on any kind of regular basis?

CH: No, I was one of those people who grew up in the Midwest and it was a dream to go to Disneyland. I lived in Illinois. When we took our family vacations frequently they were a little closer. I have three sisters so four kids going on a big trip like this was certainly an exception not the rule. In contrast with many people growing up in California that had so many events marked by a trip to Disneyland. I wasn’t that lucky.

LP: Would you be able to identify any attractions that you miss more than any other?

CH: No, no, not really. Again, mainly because I think that’s what makes Disneyland special, every time you come it's a little different. And that's a big appeal to me.

LP: Is there anything else you’d like to add?

CH: I just thank you very much for your support and I mean that. I appreciate the fact that you, and many of your fans, that log in on your chat rooms, etc. love Disneyland. I appreciate it very much. As much as you can, continue to help support us with the good news that’s out there, I think that’s great. And let people know the facts. That’s all we ask, that it's factual.
