With the fireworks to take place at 8.50, we Fastpassed our way through Space Mountain and Big Thunder, and found a place in front of the Central Plaza. It seemed like a miscalculation over the light, but the fireworks were spectacular in the not quite dark light of Marne-le-Valle. The fireworks, plussed from the old show, were completely different to ones which had been presented to us as part of the press events in March, obviously the rock version of When You Wish Upon a Star had not been well received!

We headed out to the Disney Village for a reserved seating at the new Café Mickey, when we hit the most unfortunate and unpleasant experience ever in a Disney environment. A masterstroke of poor planning with the closure of the park and the staging of a concert in the Village by a French teen idol, found an horrendous crush of people trying to pass through the centre of the narrow and obstacle-ridden Village. Screaming kids and distraught parents could find little escape where there was no access routes planned around the stage. I sincerely hope that someone in the cast there took note, and that a future hotel access path might be routed to remove the possibility of this happening again.
