Jay Rasulo: Thank you, Michael. That’s a huge compliment to me and I’m really very honored and very happy to be leading this wonderful division of the Walt Disney Company. And what a great way to start the opening of this fantastic land for all you little bugs down here. You’re going to see very soon that this is classic Disney theme park entertainment taking the great brand of A Bug’s Life, converting it into a three dimensional world and land called "a bug’s land", appropriately, where families of our smallest little guests and our smallest little bugs can have a wonderful time together. This of course is part of our fundamental strategy which Walt started back in 1955 with the opening of a theme park to always continue to grow, change and realize the different ways that our franchise has been growing over time and this our latest addition. So I hope you all have great fun. Cynthia….

Michael Eisner: I’m sure that Walt would’ve liked to have seen what is going on behind here just like Gene Autry would’ve liked to have seen what happened on Saturday [with the Anaheim Angels]. From this Saturday, a better Monday, back to Cynthia.

Cynthia Harriss: Well I think we’re going to get the show started. So on with the show….

Announcer: Boys and Girls, Ladies and Gentlemen please give a big bug worthy welcome to our in house bug experts, our very own bugologists, Matt and Mattie Morphosis

Matt and Mattie: Hello! How ya doin’ out there? Do you like bugs? Yeah!!! We love bugs. We are bugs experts. What’s your favorite kind of bug? (Ant responds a crowd member.) Ours, too

They break into song (originally performed in the Bug's Life mall tour) about bug’s making the best of friends; the chorus reminds us “Don’t be afraid to look down. Their looks alone might cause alarm, but they don’t mean you any harm and plenty of friends can be found all over and under the ground, creatures of habitat abound, so open your eyes to what’s hanging around, and Don’t be afraid to look down."

Matt: More species of insects in the world than all other species put together. That’s a lot of bugs. They’re everywhere. So keep your eyes peeled and watch your step.

Mattie: What did one flea say to another flea after a night on the town?

Matt: I don’t know Mattie, what did one flea say to another flea after a night on the town?

Mattie: Do you want to walk home or take a dog?

Matt: Or hail a cat? OK Mattie, I’ve got one for you. Why did the moth nibble a hole in the carpet?

Mattie: I don’t know. Why did the moth nibble a hole in the carpet?

Matt: Because he wanted to see the floor show
