"Hi there", exclaims John Lasseter. "Hi," the volunteer responds. "What’s your name?" "My name is Dave Foley." "Dave Foley! The Dave Foley" says Mattie. "Wow!!!" "Well," Matt asks Dave "do you like bugs?" Dave responds "I love bugs. You know I'm somewhat of a bug expert." "How did you get to be a bug expert?" Dave replied "well to be honest, a lot of my friends say my voice sounds a lot like Flik."

“I’m really honored.” says Flik. "See" says Dave. "Wow" says the Morphosis’ kids.

This "kid" happens to be Dave Foley, the voice of Flik

John Lasseter: Dave we invited you up here to help us, to help Flik lead us in this special oath.

Dave Foley: Oh I’d love to do that. That’d be great.

Is everybody ready? Mattie asks. Does everybody have their special bug antennas on? Then repeat after Dave, Matt says.

We solemnly promise
To be better bugs
To act amazing ants
And buzz like bumbly bees
To crawl like curious caterpillars
And to flit fancy fleas
And above all
We promise to celebrate sensational insects with instinctive insight and inspired intuition
"what up, kids?" Foley asks when the crowd appears unable to repeat the mouthful. "O.K", he continues.

And always remember
That being small
Is big fun
