west side yard. What also sits in the side yard, just beyond your car’s front

In front of your car’s front bumper: the
original briar patch! This is the very briar patch in which Harris
envisioned Brer Rabbit’s hideout. Now covered with kudzu vines, the museum is
preparing to renovate this area to bring back the briars.
