Then it was past the Magic Kingdom toll plaza where Mickey-O-Lanterns were placed for the final night. We parked at the Grand Floridian where we'd eventually have dinner, but first we took the Monorail to the Contemporary where the Grand Canyon Concourse was filled with some very impressive carvings. My favorite was Expedition Everest and the most original was Walt himself. But the most clever was the Headless Bellman. Also saw a cool Maleficent costume on a guest there.

By now I was ready to head back to the Grand for dinner (shocking!) but Rebekah convinced me to check the Poly for more carvings (she's a bigger fan of them than I). Another good crop was found in the lobby there.

Finally we headed off to dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe, one of our favorite casual restaurants on property. We happened to be seated next to a couple celebrating their 20th anniversary. They had gotten a cake which was too big for the two of them so they shared it with us. We talked about marriage a bit and found out they were at WDW because they had won a McDonald's contest - 5 days and 4 nights at the Grand. Surely a very magical vacation for them, but also a special moment for us. Another great Disney day!
