Cinematical chats with “Up” writer-director Pete Docter at the Dallas Film Festival where he was presented the Tex Avery Animation Award for his accomplishments with Up and his contributions to the medium of animation. Docter spoke about the honor, offered a few new insights into his creative process going forward, and hinted at the status of “Monsters Inc. 2”, as well as another upcoming project he’s planning.
