As Disney California Adventure undergoes major changes the Orange County Business Journal explains Downtown Disney in Anaheim (which opened as part of the Disneyland Resort expansion along with California Adventure) is in no need of a redo and continues to bring in money despite the current recession. They indicate Downtown Disney outpaces area malls including South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island in sales per square foot.
