Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place” is nominated for the NAACP Image Award in Outstanding Children’s Program and actress Selena Gomez is nominated for Outstanding Performance in a Youth/Children’s Program (Series/Special). Kenny Smith received a nomination for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy for “Pair of Kings” episode – Where the Wild Kings Are.
Several ABC programs and actors also received nominations.
The 42nd Annual NAACP Images Awards will air on March 4th at 8/7C on Fox.
