A new teaser posted by Walt Disney Studios Australia reveals how Disneyland’s classic Tiki room tune makes its appearance in “Gnomeo & Juliet” the romantic comedy starring two lawn gnomes.
Buena Vista Records will release the 14-track album for “Gnomeo & Juliet” on February 8, 2001. The album will feature nine new and classic songs by the legendary songwriting team, Elton John and Bernie Taupin. Among the new tracks are “Hello Hello” and “Love Builds a Garden,” as well as a remake of Elton’s #1 hit from 1973, “Crocodile Rock,” sung as a duet with Nellie Furtado. The soundtrack also includes selections from Oscar®-nominated composer James Newton Howard and Chris Bacon.
