According to the Orange County Register the Disney Company is breaking the lengthy negotiations stalemate with the hotel union by offering a new proposal. They report this is Disney’s first new proposal in more than a year and a half. At the heart of the stalemate are workers concerns regarding health-care costs and this proposal by Disney is their first to offer options says the Register — stay with the union-run health plan or buy Disney health benefits.
