During a rant on the The Marilyn Dennis Show Elton John ripped Disney over their lack of support in his “Gnomeo & Juliet” pic which was #2 at the weekend box office in its second week. The film has now grossed over $74.3 million. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Elton John described Disiney as red-faced adding, “They’re [Disney] so ashamed, and they should be ashamed of themselves –they’re so afraid to congratulate us because John Lasseter of Pixar did not want us to make this movie that we still haven’t had a message of congratulations or well done.”
