Due to the expected retirement of the space shuttle program in 2011, an increased interest in space shuttle launches has created a higher demand for launch viewing tickets and has led Kennedy Space Center to establish a lottery system for launch viewing ticket sales as they were reportedly struggling with the site traffic volume when ticket sales would open. If you are interested in attending the Apr 19th shuttle launch — at Kennedy Space Center Causeway, KSC Visitors Center or Astronaut Hall of Fame — register now through March 9 at the official site, if selected you will be provided further details for purchasing your tickets at a later date for the upcoming shuttle mission STS-134. There is a limit of six (6) total tickets per transaction (only one transaction per household).
