Three cheers for NASA and the space shuttle for it pristine launch yesterday morning. I was actually flying yesterday and I would have killed to see it from my plane – but if you haven’t seen the viral picture going around – check it out here – really cool stuff:

Now where were we – ah yes the weather for your wonderful Disney vacation. Well I can tell you this, it’s going to windy today – and at times REALLY windy. Off the top of my head I’m not sure if Fantasmic is scheduled tonight or not, but I’ve seen it canceled for wind so that’s something you should be aware of (you wouldn’t want that pyro landing on you in the 2nd row would you?) Temperatures will once again be slightly below average, and I tell you all and all it looks like a GREAT day to get up and get into the parks. Humidity levels are still low and high temperatures will reach the low 80s and top out right about there. If that’s a forecast you like … then enjoy it because a warming trend is on tap and by the end of the week we are back in the low 90s and that humidity is coming back and if I was a betting man I’d say this time … it’s here to stay.
That said it’s looking like a really dry period through the star of the weekend – who’s ready for Star Tours this weekend? Wow, Hollywood Studios is going to be a M-A-D house … word on the street Lucas himself may be stopping by on Friday – good luck fighting the crowds – I myself, I’ll be waiting until sometime around January to ride and then I’ll ride it 10 times in a row :-)! Have a great day everyone!
