Dewpoints in the mid 60s are making whatever temperature it is feel a whole lot hotter … welcome to summer my friends as Memorial Day weekend waits in the wings!
We are going to remain in this fairly stagnant pattern for another day or two before some changes could come into the mix for the weekend. Today expect temperatures to top out in the low 90s with plenty of sunshine.
It’s looking like the best chance for storms will be Friday into early weekend but another stable air mass builds in for the end of the weekend into next week bringing rain chances back down to a nominal 10 percent.
As with any other forecast I give when it comes to the Lightning Capital of the world – I have to say – with daytime heating and sea breeze collisions – you could always see a pop up afternoon thunderstorm but not much more than that.
As always I’ve got to throw in the caveat – stay hydrated!
