Nothing is standing in the way of Mother Nature today! I will try and keep these brief because it’s really what happens during the afternoon that’s important these days. With ample moisture in the atmosphere and nothing to stand in the way … it looks like thunderstorms will once again be a foregone conclusion in the area today. Yesterday storms popped up but only drifted keeping WDW out of the bulk of the bad weather … you could hear thunder but trust me it was worse just to the north of the city (and hopefully you weren’t on I-95 yesterday … yikes).
Anyway, I digress – temperatures will get up around 90 today with anywhere between a 60-80 percent chance of rain. Thunderstorm chances decrease as we head through the week, BUT they will be a concern for much of the week into the holiday weekend. I will get more specific about 4th of July activity weather from Wednesday on.
